Hello faithful readers!! I know you've missed me so much....what do you mean I don't have any readers? none? zero?...well, it has been awhile. So much has transpired. Oh guess what! I wrecked my car...yeah, bummer. Totaled it. Sooo, I am now searching for a new one. Other than that, its the same ol', same ol'. you know, church, school, work. Well, I gotta go now but I'll tag back in soon. Peace.

P.S. If you have any suggestions for a car that would be awesome. Budget of somewhere between a Honda and Ferrari..Thanks!!

Crazy Week

Hey everyone! I know its been awhile since I've posted. Life's been pretty crazy what with work, school and church. But its been awesome! This week was crazy. Monday night I drove down to Elk Grove, CA for the Innovate 09 conference. I was able to learn some new stuff and be inspired (which is always good). Then Wednesday night, No Limits 09 started. The first night was great! Thursday night I drove back to San Jose to see Israel Houghton and Chris Tomlin in concert. That was really cool! I got to hear some of my favorite songs from both artists. Although, I would like to have heard more of Israel. But Chris Tomlin was tight. Ok, so back to Friday where I drove back to No Limits for the final service of the conference. Bro. Marks did an awesome job as usual. After the service we went to a really cool place called Sky High filled with huge trampolines. It was a blast. Let me say to all my friends from out of town that may be reading this, it was awesome hanging out with you and I look forward to seeing you again. PHEW! ok so I think I've typed enough for a couple more weeks. lol jk I'll try to keep you guys updated. Oh yeah and feel free to comment please! Until next time....

Animal calls?

So I was taking a nap the other night after an exhausting weekend (btw Revivalution was AWESOME!!) and I wake up to these strange noises. Still being very groggy I couldn't figure out what these awful sounds were coming from. It sounded like a cat in garbage disposal. Then it dawned on me. My dear mom was practicing the clarinet. My brother being the comedian he is, asked her if she was making moose calls. I just keep thinking one day we will wake to a backyard full of moose, elephants and who knows what else! This is the latest venture for my mom. She is taking a woodwinds class. They chose to give her the hardest instrument to learn, the clarinet. She will get better. I know this. But until then, pray for me!

P.S. Mom, if you're reading this, I am joking! Please don't hurt me! lol

Giving

So I just got done Christmas shopping (phew!) and it caused me to stop and think about some things. I remember when it was all about receiving, not giving. Try as they may, my parents' attempts to convince me that giving was better than receiving were futile. I just couldn't get it. The receiving sounded a lot better to me. But now things have changed a bit. As the years go by I understand a little more why giving is so important. Now don't get me wrong..I love getting gifts. They're awesome. But even more I love giving gifts to people and seeing them enjoy it. And if they don't, well that's what gift receipts are for!

So I just got home from playing basketball. I sprained my ankle. Yeah, I know...ouch. Well, its not too bad. It should heal up in about a week. Until then, bring on the Ibuprofen.
